Johan Lotter
Johan Lotter is the Chief Executive Officer of Proverian Capital, LLC.
Formerly Managing Partner of Lotter Actuarial Partners, Inc., he was lead consultant in over 15 life settlement projects, serving a diverse constituency of banks, providers, and investors. He has managed the life underwriting department of a major reinsurer focusing on the mortality of impaired lives. He is an expert in mortality, life underwriting, financial analysis, and product and process engineering.
Johan was also a Director of Arthur Andersen and Principal of William M. Mercer, focusing on M&A, rehabilitation and product work.
Earlier, Johan was SVP of Cologne Life Reinsurance Company, pioneering Universal Life for clients, and before immigrating to the US, Johan was Chief Actuary and Deputy CEO of Munich Reinsurance Company (SA).
Johan holds Fellowships in the Society of Actuaries, the Institute of Actuaries and Membership of the American Academy of Actuaries. He is the former president of the Actuarial Society of Greater New York.
